Nobody was betting on me either

I lost twelve years of my life to cocaine. A man told me about Jesus and I gave my life to Him that day. God delivered me. Set me free by His power. The addiction was gone and everything in my life changed from that day forward. Thirty-five years later I'm still doing the same thing that man did for me.

Teaching every week. Covering pastors.

I preach in big churches and I preach in small ones. Some of them can't afford to bring me in. I cover my own expenses and go anyway. Partners are the reason that's possible.

There's an 89 year old man we look after. Classically trained pianist, master's in theology, no family anywhere. Somewhere along the way his mind went. He'd be on the street. Instead he has a safe room, meals, and people who check on him.

That's one of the quiet things. There are others.
